Removal of existing coating
Old, failed, or flaking internal coating is completely removed from the affected surfaces to expose sound substrate.

Grinding and surface preparation
The internal surfaces are ground and prepared to create the correct profile for the new GRP lining to bond securely. Proper surface preparation is the single most important factor in a lasting repair

GRP fibre application
Glass Reinforced Plastic fibre is applied to the prepared internal surfaces using Isophthalic Resin, creating a seamless, reinforced, watertight layer bonded to the tank.

White gel coat lamination
A food-safe white gel coat is applied over the GRP lining, producing a smooth, hygienic, potable-water-safe finish that is easy to clean and resistant to contamination

Curing and completion report
The lining is left to cure, after which we recommend a curing period before the tank returns to service. On completion, we provide a Job Completion Report with before-and-after photographs.
